JUST ONE OF DEM DAYS

i remember when i taped this jam off B96 (Chicago's Party Station). rewinding it over and over. shaking my head like, "damn monica, you know how i feel...these men just don't get it", as i sat on my bedroom floor in my school uniform with knee high socks, eating ramen noodles while the leftover minnie mouse wallpaper stared down. i knew someday i would truly understand her sentiment...someday i'd be a woman with a woman's problems. i just couldn't wait.
